Block Drawing Series
Block Drawing Series, 2010-2011, is a collection of observational drawings. The objects to be drawn were a set of large wooden blocks that I made using a small chainsaw mill. I would assemble the blocks into stacked structures and draw them as accurately as I could, usually in one or two sittings. I would make a few drawings of one block structure, each from a different vantage point.
